The Asian Journal of Managerial Science (AJMS), published by the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI), follows a Gold Open Access publishing model. This Copyright & Licensing Policy explains copyright ownership, the Creative Commons licence applied to published articles, author reuse and repository rights, third-party permissions, and the copyright notice used on AJMS article webpages and published PDFs.

Upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication in AJMS, the author(s), or other lawful copyright holder where applicable, must complete the AJMS Author Declaration and Copyright Transfer Agreement. Under the current policy, copyright in the published Version of Record transfers to the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI) upon publication. CRI may publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, preserve, index, disseminate, license, and protect the Version of Record in accordance with AJMS policies.

2. Open Access Licence

All AJMS articles are made immediately and permanently available online under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Users may copy and redistribute the unchanged published article for non-commercial purposes with appropriate credit and acknowledgement of the original AJMS publication. The licence does not permit commercial use or distribution of modified, adapted, translated, remixed, transformed, or derivative versions without additional permission from the copyright holder.

For 2026 publications: © 2026 Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI). This is an open access article under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence. For future articles, the year should match the actual year of publication.

4. Author Rights and Scholarly Reuse

Authors retain the scholarly reuse and repository rights expressly permitted by AJMS policies. Authors may deposit the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and published Version of Record in appropriate scholarly repositories without an embargo. When sharing the Version of Record, it must remain unchanged and retain the complete citation, DOI or permanent link, CRI copyright notice, CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence, and acknowledgement of AJMS and CRI. 5. Version of Record Sharing

Authors and readers may share the published Version of Record for non-commercial purposes in accordance with CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. The Version of Record must not be altered, adapted, translated, or otherwise modified for redistribution unless additional permission has been obtained from the copyright holder.

6. Third-Party Material and Permissions

Authors are responsible for ensuring that figures, tables, photographs, substantial text extracts, datasets, and other third-party material are original or used with appropriate permission. Material excluded from the article’s Creative Commons licence should be clearly identified by an appropriate credit line or rights statement. Users wishing to reuse such material must obtain permission from the relevant copyright holder where required. These obligations operate together with the Publication Ethics & Publication Malpractice Statement.

7. Author Declaration

The corresponding author, where authorised by all co-authors, confirms originality, author approval, required permissions, conflict-of-interest and funding disclosures, ethical compliance, and authority to enter into the copyright agreement on behalf of the authors where applicable.

8. Digital Preservation and Archiving

AJMS supports long-term access through its digital preservation arrangements, including the PKP Preservation Network. Copyright and licence information should remain associated with preserved and archived copies of the Version of Record.

9. Relationship with Other AJMS Policies

This policy operates together with the Open Access Policy, Author Guidelines, Publication Ethics & Publication Malpractice Statement, Privacy Policy, and Copyright Form.
