Asian Journal of Managerial Science (AJMS) is pleased to announce the Best Paper Award 2026, which will recognise an outstanding research article selected from the papers published in AJMS during the 2026 publication year.
The award is intended exclusively for papers that have already been published in AJMS during 2026. Authors are not required to submit a separate application or nomination for consideration. All eligible papers published in the journal during the award period will be reviewed as part of the journal’s structured post-publication evaluation process.
The Best Paper Award reflects the journal’s commitment to recognising high-quality, original, methodologically rigorous, and academically relevant scholarship that contributes meaningfully to the advancement of knowledge in management and business studies. The award is based on the scholarly merit of the published work and does not influence the journal’s editorial or peer-review decisions.
Evaluation Criteria for the Best Paper Award 2026
The selection will be undertaken by an expert evaluation panel. Papers published in AJMS during 2026 will be assessed using scholarly criteria that may include:
- originality and significance of the published research;
- methodological rigour, transparency, and clarity;
- contribution to existing knowledge in management and business studies;
- scholarly and practical relevance;
- quality of analysis, interpretation, and presentation; and
- potential contribution to future research, management practice, policy, organisational development, or interdisciplinary scholarship.
The award evaluation is separate from the manuscript selection process. Every paper considered for the award must have been formally published in AJMS during 2026.
Eligibility
Eligibility for the Best Paper Award 2026 is limited to qualifying scholarly papers formally published in the Asian Journal of Managerial Science during the 2026 publication year. Unpublished manuscripts, manuscripts under review, accepted manuscripts awaiting publication, and submissions made specifically for award consideration are not eligible.
No separate award submission or nomination is required. The evaluation panel will consider eligible published papers on the basis of the published scholarly record and the stated award criteria.
Announcement of the Award
The recipient of the Best Paper Award 2026 will be announced at the end of January 2027, after completion of the evaluation of eligible papers published during 2026.
Through this recognition, AJMS seeks to acknowledge exceptional published scholarship, encourage rigorous research, strengthen scholarly dialogue, and highlight contributions that advance knowledge and practice in management and business studies.
